The Employee Happiness Awards is an authentic platform that recognises companies purely on merit. We are obsessed with maintaining the highest standards of integrity in the assessment process so the most deserving companies win, regardless of their scale, size, and brand value. In the latest edition of Employee Happiness Awards in UAE 2024, we attracted 305 submissions of which 120 were shortlisted as deserving finalists across 23 categories. After a rigorous assessment that spanned 3 months, the Gold and Silver winners were revealed and celebrated at an unforgettable Gala Awards Ceremony on 15th June, 2024 at Taj Exotica, The Palm, Dubai. In 2025, in our very first edition of Employee Happiness Awards in Saudi Arabia, we are thrilled to announce 20+ exciting categories where companies can compete in. With a 4-steps nomination journey, until winners are announced on 29th May 2025, we promise this to be an exciting experience for all stakeholders. We are delighted to answer your questions so that you can nominate your company for the most prestigious HR awards in KSA.

1. Who can enter the Employee Happiness Awards?

Any enterprise or individual based in the Saudi Arabia can participate in the Employee Happiness Awards as long as they have relevant initiatives, innovations, programs or achievements pertaining to the award categories.

2. What are the Award Categories?

3. How much does it cost to enter?

You can nominate in 4 company categories only. You can nominate for free in up to 3 company categories. After that, a nomination fee of USD 100 will be charged for the 1 additional category.

4. What is the process to enter the awards?

It’s a simple 4-steps process, from start to finish

5. Why must I enter these awards?

Here are 5 reasons you MUST enter Employee Happiness Awards 2025

  • 1.This is the MOST authentic platform to get recognised for your employee-centric initiatives, where companies win purely on MERIT
  • 2.It is third-party validation and recognition for your initiatives. The transparency of the process is now validated by the Global Accreditation Programme called the Awards Trust Mark
  • 3.Finalists and Winners of the Employee Happiness Awards are provided with a special logo that can be embedded in email signatures and company websites. This allows you to reiterate your commitment to employees, every time any employee of the company sends an email!
  • 4.Nominees, Finalists, and Winners are aggressively promoted through official event digital platforms such as the website, social media handles, and email marketing lists that exceed a touchpoint of 10,000+ HR professionals and decision-makers

6. What is the period of eligibility for the awards?

At least a part of the initiative/program/campaign should have taken place January 2024 onwards.

7. How many award categories can we enter?

You can nominate in 4 company categories only. You can nominate for free in up to 3 company categories. After that, a nomination fee of USD 100 will be charged for the 1 additional category.

8. What are your policies on confidentiality?

We understand that as part of the nomination process, you may reveal important and sensitive business information. This information is accessed by the Jury who agrees to a confidentiality arrangement. We further ensure that the Jury does not have any conflict of interest with your business.

9. What is the deadline to nominate at the Employee Happiness Awards?

The entire process is a 4-steps process

10. What is the format of the final presentations?

The presentations need to be made only by the finalists in each category. The entire process happens online, wherein you are allotted 20 mins (including Q&A) to make your case to the Jury panel. It is based on the final presentations that the Jury identifies the winners in each category.

11. How many team members can be present at the final presentations?

We recommend between 2-3 such that you can make an impactful presentation, while having the support of team members, who can address the Jury questions well. However, this is only our recommendation, not a standard rule.

12. When will the winners be declared?

The winners will be declared in a Gala Awards ceremony on 29th May, 2025 in Riyadh.

13. Is it mandatory to buy tickets to the Gala Awards ceremony where winners will be declared?

It is NOT mandatory to purchase tickets for the Gala Awards ceremony. However, we recommend that you have adequate company representation at the Gala Awards ceremony, so you can create an unforgettable memory for your entire team!

14. When and Where are the awards taking place?

The Gala Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 29th May, 2025, in Riyadh. We will be announcing the hotel soon. We will be announcing the hotel soon.
